Use:  In preparation for pregnancy, during pregnancy and throughout lactation the need for vitamins and minerals increases greatly. Elevit with Iodine is formulated to meet the increased needs of mother-to-be and to provide her growing baby with the best possible nutritional support throughout its whole development - from conception, through pregnancy and on to breastfeeding. Elevit with Iodine will also assist in the prevention of dietary iron deficiency. It contains Iodine to assist the development of the baby's brain. When taken in the early stage of pregnancy, Elevit has been shown to be beneficial in pregnancy and reduce the likelihood of neural tube defects in the developing foetus. Neural tube defects lead to birth defects such as spina bifida. If you have had a baby with spina bifida/neural tube defects you should seek specific medical advice.

Active Ingredients:

Each Tablet Contains 11 Vitamins and 8 Minerals and trace elements:

Dose:  Take one tablet daily, or as directed by your health professional. Take Elevit with Iodine if possible for at least 3 months before pregnancy, and throughout pregnancy and the breastfeeding period.

Warnings & Precautions:  Do not exceed the recommended dose.
